Zelda Tote- Linen Zippered Knitting Project Bag Tote Bag (Woodsy and Wild Tote)
I've teamed up with Kemper of JunkYarn and Olga of Handmade Closet to create this custom tote bag inspired by the gorgeous new Zelda Crop Pattern! Drawing from the bright, springy coral and classic blue featured in the original yarn used in the pattern, I've created this modified version of our versatile Maple Tote in vibrant coral linen with a lovely navy floral lining.
The Maple Tote is our idea of the perfect carry it all bag- the generous interior has room for the biggest, coziest sweater projects, with a simple, sophisticated design that oozes form AND function. This simplified version features an exterior zippered pocket, a back slip pocket perfectly sized for storing a paper pattern or notebook, and a wipe-clean waxed canvas base and straps. Hook your stitch markers or keys onto the exterior D rings to keep handy, or attach an adjustable cross-body strap to use as a messenger bag.

Key Features:
-Our biggest bag yet (16 inches wide, 11 inches tall when standing, with a roomy 6 inch deep gusset) easily accommodates bulky sweater projects. Or load it up with a smaller project bag (we recommend our Sapling Bag!) and all your daily essentials and use it as a purse!
-Two exterior pockets: one zippered pocket to keep your notions organized and close at hand, one slip pocket to hold your pattern, a notebook, magazines, or tablet.
-Versatile waxed canvas tote straps for carrying, or wearing over the shoulder. Or add-on an adjustable strap for carrying cross-body (find it here: https://woodsyandwild.com/products/adjustable-cross-body-strap)
Fully lined with no exposed seams. Made with high quality, sturdy linen/cotton lightweight canvas, premium quality quilting cotton for the lining, and fusible fleece interfacing for added stability. Base and straps are made with heavy-weight canvas waxed with beeswax for a water-resistant finish. Zippers and all findings are solid metal with an antiqued brass finish. Spot clean, iron as needed to smooth and restore shape (avoid ironing waxed canvas). Do not wash. Waxed canvas naturally ages and weathers- expect some lines and creases to form over time. We think this is part of its beauty! But a bit of dry heat from a hair dryer will redistribute the wax and remove crease lines ;)
Listing is for one project bag. Other items pictured for scale and suggested use only. Bags made in a smoke-free, animal-friendly home. All attempts have been made to photograph colors as accurately as possible, but colors may vary from monitor to monitor.
